Can Facebook make it a limit for anyone to use the service of 13 years, but this naturally does not prevent younger children to open accounts.
We estimated that 38% of minors who have profiles on Facebook are below the age of 13 set by U.S. law. Indeed it is estimated that 4% of them are under 6. Which translates to about 800,000 infant profiles on the popular platform for social media.
Although many parents worry about the online activities of their children, few know how to control them. A 50% of those surveyed use the codes for their children to learn what they are doing the service. Many others, however (24%) believe that it is enough to be friends with their children on Facebook to know what their children are doing it.
