5 strange behavior of animals that science can not explain!

Animals do many strange things, some of which even today scientists can not explain why. The following list, we present 5 cases in which although the experts know and have studied, but they could not give an answer to why;

1. Suicide animals.

Although not often mentioned, there are too many cases groups of animals as "suicide"
without any apparent reason. The most recent cases (in 2009) is 28 cows suicide
in Switzerland, making a leap of death from a cliff over a period of three days and washed
on the beaches of California, hundreds of huge squid. But aside from isolated incidents,
there are some that occur every year, such as in Jatinga, India, where hundreds of birds
of different species doing a dive of death within each year, and groups of rodents, fall into
the sea and swim to the open ocean until exhausted and drown.
Since when is ...
Although people usually do not record the suicides of animals, however, no studies since
1800 that try to explain why it happens.
Theories ...
Some argue that the fault of the atmospheric conditions that create confusion (especially
in the case of birds) by the falling back to earth. This does not explain the suicides in land
animals and sea.
There is also the theory of "follow the leader" when the "wrong" the leader of the group,
and drag the rest, in death. But there are cases where animals are individually committed
suicide (like cows), which turns this theory and incomplete.
The theory is related to the magnetic fields of the earth, would have an impact on all
animals that use magnetic fields for their orientation, while the theory refers to a kind of
instinct, which is related to the maintenance of the population a specific number, resulting
in the death of "Excess" members, was created to give an answer to the mass suicide of
rodents alone.

2. The bees are disappearing.

It seems that the population of honey bees, gradually reduced each year for several
years and nobody knows why. If this new combined with the famous reference to
Einstein who said that people will die if the bees disappear, the news is quite worrying.
Since when is ...
Scientists first noticed a change in the population of bees since 1972, but the dramatic
decline in population starting in 2006. First seen in America and Europe, but in 2007
cases of depopulation and Taiwan. The latest news, reported the same phenomenon in
India and Brazil.
Theories ...
There are several theories that have to do with viruses, poor nutrition bee or pesticides.
Some refer to radiation from mobile phone masts, another theory has to do with mass
migrations of the bees in "unknown direction" and there is a theory that has to do with
declining birth rates.
Unfortunately, none of the theories so far failed to give a convincing answer for this
phenomenon, which remains a concern, and concerned specialists.

3. The strange eating habits of cows

When the cows are not falling from cliffs, usually eat. Have you ever noticed anything strange when cows eat? No? Well, no one had noticed, until the moment when German scientists began to examine the satellite images through Google Earth. It was then noticed that all the cows are everywhere, looking both to the north or south while eating.
We know that most animals (including cows) can detect magnetic fields of the planet, but this does not answer the question: Why do so;
Since when is ...
This is strange. It is certain that animals always behave this way, just no one had noticed. I had to make a random observation through satellite photos from some. to begin to unfold the skein.
Theories ...
It was originally thought that the reason for this strange behavior is the position of the sun or the wind direction. But this phenomenon is observed in all cows, so the theory has gaps. A recent theory says that this habit has to do with the way a cow grazes.Using this tactic (and not grazing accidentally) saves, from falling over a section of the field that has been grazed another cow or even the same. Good as a theory, but observations so far have not shown such "intelligence"

4. Changing the voice of the blue whale.

Scientists have done some strange things in the name of science. In this case, back in the '60s, some scientists want to record the song of the blue whale, filling the oceans with microphones. Forty years later, someone had the idea to study the four decades of material with the voices of whales, when he made a curious discovery: every song blue whale in the world is "deeper" each year.
Since when is ...
The only sure thing is that happens in the last 40 years, but may be much older phenomenon. The reduction is small, only a few fractions of a hertz per year, but it is steady and continuous.
Theories ...
One of the theories related to global warming, but the noise of the seas. However, the effects of global warming in the oceans is not valid because the changes in acidity and density that could cause a change that whales should be offset is so small that in no way explains the very biggest change in the voice of the whale.
The noise could be a more logical explanation. Just like when you're in a crowded bar, trying to capture the attention of the waitress talking to a lower key, so the whales are adjusted each year in ever increasing noise pollution of the oceans. That, however, there is a change in behavior simultaneously in all the whales in all oceans, in exactly the same way, leaving several "gaps" in this theory.

5. Ants collective intelligence.
Ants amaze us for centuries. Scientists have discovered that they work as a kind of collective intelligence, which allows them when they are in groups of thousands ormillions, to regulate their collective temperature, to overcome obstacles, and even killtheir prey much larger. The amazing thing is that the more ants there, so be smarter in their entirety.
Since when is ...
Ants of Africa and South America are two different groups, which had a commonancestor from the Cretaceous Period. Armies of ants traveling and
terrorizing
theanimals for at least 65 million years. So we assume that the collective intelligence issomething that had always been.
Theories ...
The theory Swarm, is probably a good explanation for this phenomenon. Scientistsconclude that while individual ants Place "stupid" as a group managed to take the right decisions because
of the way in which ants interact with each other.
