I piled up a lot of links on my Jdownloader which are on Filesonic and the premium account login that I added to Jdownloader suddenly dissapeared and when I went to settings page, it says Invalid account! so I Went to Filesonic website and Found the following notice:
According to announcement by the site, all file-sharing functionality has now been disabled, leaving current users only with access to files that they have personally uploaded.
Many hundreds of thousands (probably millions) of links all around the web have now been rendered useless, at least temporarily.
In the last few hours, before file-sharing was disabled, Filesonic has ended its rewards program, meaning that uploaders to the site no longer earn money when people download their files.
This has got to do with the Megaupload Shutting down incident and SOPA/PIPA ! Since Like Megaupload, Filesonic is based in Hong Kong. and Filesonic founder dosn't probably want to get arrested! Arrestphobia!!
Furthermore Uploaded.to has blocked access to US users:
One by one , the filesharing sites are falling! In the end it could come to a total end of filesharing sites thanks to some not-well planned acts/thoughts regarding Piracy! However even if all filesharing sites are to be gone, Piracy would not! In the end, there would have been no meaning in shutting down the filesharing sites.
All the filesonic and megaupload links on my download list rendered useless! I probably cant get those files elsewhere! So what troubles are you guys facing due to the Megauplaod Shutdown Chain Reaction?
