Value change and earthquakes

Australian scientists research team showed for the first time, the relationship between climate change and the movement of tectonic plates, which will help in understanding why there are strong earthquakes.
The researchers found that enhancing the monsoon in India has accelerated in
20% of the movements of the Indian plate, during the last ten million years. According to team leader, Tzianpiero Iafalntano if scientists knew of old that the movements of tectonic plates affect climate, since this causes the creation of new mountains and trenches, this study shows that the converse is true.
"The cutting or filling cavities ocean, or the presence of high mountains such as the Andes and the Himalayas, are geological processes affecting the climate," he explained.
